Lauren and Patrick married in one of the prettiest places on earth, the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. I’ve always had a deep love of this region and it was the perfect backdrop for the beginning of life together. The wedding was very intimate with a mere 37 people attending but you never could have told that from the boisterous reception that took place. Seriously, these people can PARTY! My favorite thing? Puppies! Lauren and Patricks dogs were such a huge part of the ceremony and they were so well behaved (something that is not always a guarantee)! The party continued well into the wee hours of the morning back at the Big Sky Lodge in the Gatlinburg Falls Parkway Resort where the entire wedding party was staying. It was a great location, a great party, great people, and a freakin’ fantastic couple!
Many congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mix! Guys, thanks for letting me be a part of your big day.

I love the sensuality of this shot. Lauren has fab legs so we had to show ‘em off. (Patrick was thrilled, of course!)

Lauren traded out her gown for a sweet little white dress and, with the boots, perfection! Of course I had to steal her boots for the ring shots. But what other option did I have?!?

Hi Traci,

I was looking for blog posts about Parkview to share on our site and I came across your post…If you’re open to it, shoot me an email at jane(at)dwellable(dot)com.
